I’ll continue to update these lists whenever I can.
so for on the time of writing of 14/04/’26:

  •  Big fan of the writing of Marko Kloos. I think I’ve read some of his books within days, that’s how captivating they are. I love action, obviously, but action mixed with the reality and complexity of human nature and great character development is something else entirely. Things like honor, love, brotherhood, family and courage.

What a potent mix; Scifi Space Kablooie for the mind, an incredible deep and satisfying ride along for the soul.
Anyway, visit his site right here and go read his books, stat!

  • Galagy’x Edge.
Having read through all Marko Kloos’s released novels (At least the English and translated ones) I was looking for something else to sink my teeth in! I found they Galaxy’s Edge Novella and am hooked on it. Imagine my exitement when I found out it has 3 seasons and some inbetweeners… I’m reading part 9 of season 1 now and looking forward to go through all of them!

  • The Three-Body Problem Trilogy by Cixin Liu.
Absolutely amazing, and at times a very difficult, read. I’ll try and not rant too much about how some Western movie making decisions absolutely destroy original storylines and I won’t go into how the Netflix series is about 10% (if even) of the emotional investment that goes into the books but there is a Chinese series that goes way more in depth than the Netflix one. Should you not have the focus to read a book, I’d definintely recommend trying the Chinese orginial series.

  • How To Live Like A Roman Emperor.
This book has been of great help to offer perspectives on my mental health. I urge everyone, especially when facing adversity to dive into Stoicism. This is more of a summary, by Donald Robertson, of the original works and works great as a step off board for the more complicated works of Marcus Aurelius and Stoicism in general.

Since Charlie oscar’s Impressions gained some traction online, I’ve gotten some offers to play test or try out some games. Which is think is absolutely awesome. If you’re creating a game and you’re reading this. I absolutely love to help out in anyway possible. I have an very long list of playtesting record going from Indie games to AAA games. But I’ll refer to the Services part of the website. Back on track, here are some of the games I got approached for, tested or just think you should keep an eye on.

  • Star Citizen
star Citizen by Robert Space Industries also known as CIG. Creating the space MMO called Star Citizen

Yes it is still in development, yes there are things I don’t agree with and yes it is still the best space MMO I have ever played. As a member of the Evocati test crew I regularly get to see and test the latest. Which also makes me take a break every now and then.

  • Falling Frontier

Capital class spaceship of the Falling Frontier universe with Mars in the background

I’m really excited about this one. Falling Frontier is the upcoming space RTS Which I think is going to change how developers approach the genre and blow up the genre! At least I will definitely be playing this once it gets out. There are daily updates in their Discord and we’re all looking foward to the demo Soon:tm:!
